somehow..i think this has got to do ALOT with the fact that i am a future teacher to be and i (people) stereotyped that teacher should not be blondies! >.<
have to admit, im super afraid of others judging me. haiz.
but people judge people all the time. sad but true. =(

super late post on my bangkok trip! =p
my first visit to Bangkok and i fall head over heals for it! actually is the shopping la! lol.

my summary of Bangkok :

just the though of going shopping in Bangkok again is sending me into a happy stroke. wth. okla..im a lil over with the term stroke but seriously its like O.M.Gosh!!!!

every freaking shop is like different from the other shops.
ohya! we went to Platinum mall. its like our Sg Wang but this is like 10000 times better to shop cuz they offer u choices, styles and super duper affordable price!
you have to go there if u ever go to Bangkok! dats if you r a girl la. if u r a dude be nice n go with your girlfriend la...k? =p

tell me who dun like CHEAP & NICE & STYLISH things? *hard stare*

i posted my bangkok pics in my fb and friends who saw me after that all commented the same thing.
"WAH...so crazy of u 2 ( meaning me & sis ) to shop so much in Bangkok!"
i think by now..everybody will be thinking that both me n my sis r like these crazy mad women who does not have any control of ourselves when it comes to shopping. true to a certain extend but both of us definitely have some self control. else we would be buying the whole Platinum mall back! hahaha..=p

to be honest....i regret not buying more! =( because its not like everyday that i get to go to Bangkok right? *giving self reason to buy more.
but....
i missed the chance..so nvm la..i will definitely come back to you Bangkok!

ohya...something really funny to share...
when we first arrived, my sis's BF jokingly told us that each of us wold have to buy 30 items or more cuz that would only make our trip worth it. all 4 of us laughed at it saying that its impossible cuz that crazy!
turns out....we hit that figure at Day 2 itself. hahahahahhahahhaa......
moral of the lesson : never say things randomly cuz u never know what might just come true! =p

we went Bangkok liao....of cuz have to look and see Bangkok itself! apart from the shopping la!
so whats better way to know and experience their very own unique culture by visiting the famous touristy place?

ahhh..speaking of killing 2 birds at once. me likey! save on our taxi fare! oooh..did i mention their taxi r like crazy cheap? waaaay cheaper than our Malaysian taxi and waaaay more comfortable taxis! =) heck..even their tuk tuk costs more than the taxi! somehow..i feel that ever since tuk tuk start gaining its popularity among the tourists...it became the easiet weapon to chop us tourist! cuz u find tuk tuk only in Thailand. wth, that makes lotsa sense. =='''

both my sis and i were required to wear the sarung thingy cuz our pants were deemed inappropriate. apparently leggings are not allowed cuz its accentuates our Jlo butts. lol. joking. i made this up. they have a dress code and we did not meet their dress code. anyway my sis & i tied the sarung in a more edgy style. cuz we duno how to tie the sarung but i think they looked cute cuz many ppl were staring at our sarung. or its cuz we r like 2 stupid fella tying something like that. haha! but who cares la..we had fun with it! =)

ahh.....i need to make myself clear again. i am a Christian. stepping into a temple does not in any way show that i am converted to their religion. i believe in Christ. its just a visit and i respect other religion. pure appreciation of the beautiful architectural aspect of the buildings. nothing more. nothing less. i have faith in my Saviour that he will protect me wherever i go and i have Faith in my own Faith in Christ. =)

enough and happy with the temples...we went over to the Grand Palace!

the sun was crazy hot lo that day..we were all roasted like pigs. =.=

im back after such a long hiatus!
i had a crazy packed week! so many things to share about...
just a quick update of what i had been doing the past week:
1) a dear friend's wedding! =) i think this is actually the first wedding of a childhood friend of mine..it was so sweet seeing the 2 people who grew with us finally tied the knot! will talk bout this further! ^^

2) went to kl and attend our predeparture briefing. everything is all set and im flying on the 10th of feb. its feels a lil' surreal that i am finally really gonna fly...thank God for this! amen! im running against time right now!

3) went pavillion for the first time. not a place for me cuz i dun like going to a shopping mall where the only shops that i can go in and actually shop is Forever21 and CottonOn. the rest of the shop...dun even dare to look at it. ==''' i duno y ppl who cant afford this likes to go there and brag bout how they LOVE shopping there? maybe walking there for a round can boost one's self esteem and amplify their egoness by imagining that they r actually from the "atas" community for being able to (window)shop in pavillion. *puff*

4) went Uniqlo for the very first time & guess who was shopping there too with us? hiak hiak hiak...its Tun Dr Mahathir! din know that he likes street wear! haha...=p anyway loads of ppl were asking him for photographs..me n sis wanted to do so too but i guess seeing how he was ambushed and poor man was only trying to look around for clothes but ppl come n kacau like that...we decided not to take pics la..plus..he had like 4 bodyguards beside him. haha. dowana be stopped by them cuz if it happened..damn embarrassing only lo...right? =p nvm la.i get to c him in person at least once before i die also i am satisfied liao. lol.

5 ) i.......did.....something....to....my....hair.....! being a boring person who always likes to play it safe by sticking to the same hair n almost same length since i am 10....i did something i would say shocking to myself! after 13 years! =p well..technically 23 years la..cuz i have been having the same hair style since i am 10..shoulder length or a lil' long, kinda straight, no bangs or short fringe...never permed except for those temporary hair do's...never ever dyed my hair....i finally...DYED them. =p anyway..it is not a super bright colour..very near to my natural hair colour..i would say its dark brown...when everybody else is telling me that its not worth it that i spend so much doing it but its not obvious..i actually loved it! because..i never thought that a day like this would come because i never had the courage to do so! haha! so yes. i love my hair. i love the colour. oh..did i mentioned that the hair stylist is a korean? hahaha! =p went to Yoo Jean's saloon in Sri Hartamas for it. =) shall show u the hair once i get a nice decent pic of myself k! =)

well..the sweet celebrated couple is Lemon & Huiteen!

we knew the bride way back then as all of us attends the same church and youth fellowship.

their love story was a simple one!
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!
there. done. =)

one day...lemon ( the groom ) came to our church and there he met the angel of his life. and thus....came the man and after a sweet courtship...they finally got together!
and its so happy seeing them tying the knot and building a family together.

their wedding took place in marina island ( the hottest lepak-ing place in sitiawan currently!) its actually a private property owned by a developer..it really is a very beautiful place!oh...its also a reclaimed island and jetty as well to go to Pangkor Island. only 10mins to go there. form the old jetty in lumut u need like 25mins if i am not mistaken. so save lots of time! ok. cuti-cuti sitiawan commercial break is over. back to the wedding.

they had a wedding ceremony the garden-open-air-style.

anyway..the wedding reception was also held at the same place..just beside where the wedding ceremony took place.

now imma tell u the story of how i got to be a bridesmaid. yeah. there's a story to it. haha. initially i was not a bridesmaid. another girl was supposed to have the honour of it..but on the morning of the day of the wedding..her car was hijacked. =( so she could make it back thus..i was the substitute to her....its very unfortunate of how i actually became the bridesmaid..but i am more than happy to be one.=) not that i wish the girl to be hijacked but u know what i mean. btw its my very first time as a bridesmaid! so yes..i am happy. =)

i just got back from bangkok like 2 days ago and i am finding myself missing bangkok so much!

i love their food..tomyum..tonyum kung...the fruits stalls where u can get fruits like anytime anywhere..fruit juices..coconut...and most importantly platinum mall where my sis and i went crazy shopping there. like O.M.GOSH! i have never shop till so crazy before..seriously. im really happy with what i bought but i am also regretting something. regretting not buying more. hahaha! sigh. i will definitely go back bangkok! precisely platinum mall. *cough* anyway this is just a short post because my bangkok pics r with my sis...i will blog a proper blog when i got the pics!
again.....I HEART BANGKOK! =P

in the mean time..i need to really pamper myself more. because i discovered that i have like gazillions of white heads and black heads on my face. sad. and i have like lotsa pimples. even worse. lotsa scars....*emo* so i really need to start taking care of my skin lah..if not....i dun think i will ever forgive myself for not taking care of my once oh-so-smooth skin. haiz. i wish i can turn back time. why....WHY does human only learn from their mistake...why cant we foresee things and learn not to take things for granted? okla...whats done is done. no use crying over spilled milk. i see others with worse skin and i should be thankful liao for my skin..n start caring it liao! *determined*

ohh...my friend is getting married this saturday! and i am sooo excited! =) so gotta make sure no giant zits have chance to spring on my face! teehee~

daddy cool like no one!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY DADDY DEAREST!

i would like to dedicate this post to my daddy! =)

my dad is a Jan 1st baby!
well..technically. its not really his birthday. to cut long story short..my grandpa did not know the importance of registering children and he was also too busy working outstation when my dad was born..hence...he registered him months later and put Jan 1st as his birth date. =='''
so my dad has been celebrating his birthday on Jan 1st la since we started celebrating them. haha!

back then when we,my siblings and i were still young..we did not celebrate our parents birthdays in the princess or prince style la.. this may partly be due the reason that my parents themselves dun celebrate their birthday! how sad. i know. but! i remembered that we celebrated more of Mother's day as well as Father's day as compared to their birthdays! *sigh* depressing i know. hey! at least we celebrated them for all their love for us! that will do for it! =) we used to like cycle out ( the three of us ) to the nearest bakery and buy a cream cake which was such a luxury to us back then because we would have to save our money for the cake which cost us like rm 10? but i will always remember how happy we all were cutting the cake and eating it..such innocent joy! =)

oh..and i remembered how we used to miss our daddy's birthday for few years because all 3 of us were at out church youth's camp. so eventhough we were not physically there to celebrate his birthday we would always call back home when the clock strikes 12 and wish him happy birthday! i can hear my dad was really happy but being the man of the house...must control macho! haha..so he would ask us all not to waste money on the phone because we would be back the next day. fyi, my daddy is so not a telephone or handphone fella cuz he is a strong believer that handphones are nothing but a waste of money cuz the call rates are expensive. ==''' he prefers real face-to-face communication. haha!

my dad is smart but annoyingly but cute.
whenever his birthday comes...he knows that we would buy him a cake. like who celebrates a birthday without a birthday cake right? lol. so whenever we are going out to buy his birthday cake he would know. he is smart. then....he would flag us down before we have the chance to reverse the car and then he would tell us directly "noned to buy cake for me. i dowan to eat!"
LOL.

can u guys pls tell me if your dad does this?

nevertheless...despite him asking us not to buy a cake..how can we not buy one cake for our daddy dearest?=)
